Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to commence conciliation proceedings on the Industrial Dispute raised by the petitioner for wage revision dealt with under File No. Na.Ka.No.A/487/2020 dated 14.10.2020 and conclude the same within the time stipulated under Section 12 (6) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been preferred seeking a direction to commence and conclude the Conciliation Proceedings pending before the first respondent within the time limit stipulated under Section 12 (6) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.

2. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the Conciliation Proceedings https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

commenced somewhere in August, 2020, is still pending. As per Section 12 (6) of the Act, the conciliation shall be completed within a period of 14 days.

3. Therefore, considering the limited prayer, a direction is given to the first respondent to conclude the Conciliation Proceedings pending on his file in Na.Ka.No.A/487/2020, dated 14.10.2020 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
