This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code seeking to transfer the investigation in FIR in Crime No.10 of 2023 registered under Sections 120B, 420 of IPC and 5 of TN Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishment) Act, 1997, which was pending before the DCB, Erode, specifically to EOW, Chennai.

2.Copy of the proceedings of the Additional Director General of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Chennai - 600 083 dated 24.01.2024 in C.No.C2/EOW/14399/2023 is forwarded to this Court. It is seen that the CD file in Crime Branch, Erode had been forwarded to the Additional Director General of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Chennai for further investigation. The Economic Offences Wing, Chennai may conduct investigation in manner known to law. 2/4
