2. The petition mentioned suit has been filed for the relief of direction, directing the defendants to pay a sum of Rs.10,24,17,520/- to the applicant / plaintiff along with interest @ 18%.

3. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the applicant / plaintiff that though the respondents / defendants are residing in the area, which is situated outside the jurisdiction of this Court, the Company, who lend loan to the defendants, is situated within the jurisdiction of this Court. Further, during the time of availing the loan, the defendants executed a Promissory Note in Kodambakkam and the same is situated within the jurisdiction of this Court. Hence, leave may be granted for filing the suit before this Court.

Now, on considering the said submission with the relevant records, it would appear that along with the plaint, the applicant herein has enclosed a copy of the Promissory Note, which is alleged to be executed by the defendants 1 and 2 at the time of availing the loan. On fair perusal of the said document, it would show that the said document has been executed in Kodambakkam, which is available within the jurisdiction of this Court. Hence, being the reason that the portion of the cause of action has been arised within the jurisdiction of this Court, the leave prayed for by the applicant is granted. This application is allowed accordingly.

5. Registry is directed to number the suit, if it is otherwise in order.
