O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Uthiramerur, Kanchipuram District to commit the above P.R.C.No.9/2022 to the trial Court as early as possible and also give further direction to conduct the trial in speedy manner.

2. Heard Mr.G.Ashokkumar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for respondent.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that there are totally eight accused persons. A2, A4 and A5 are appearing regularly before the Court below. A1, A3 and A7 have been served with summon and they have been appearing through counsel by filing a petition u/s.317 Cr.P.C. A6 and A8 are yet to be served with summon. The case is posted for hearing on 06.04.2024.

4. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Uthiramerur, Kanchipuram District, to commit the proceedings by the end of June 2024. The respondent police shall ensure that summon is served on A6 and A8 and they will appear before the Court.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
