Respondent(s) PRAYER This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent authority to issue patta in favour of the petitioner to her property in Survey Nos.23/1 to an extent of about 14 cents by disposing of the petitioners application dated 26/11/2024 vide application No.2024 /0105 /08/559054 within such time as may be
stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 26.11.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta in her name.

Heard Mr.A.Rajkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2. 3.
The petitioner is claiming right and title over the property through a registered Settlement deed dated 02.09.2013. According to the petitioner, the property in question is an ancestral property. Therefore, the petitioner applied for Patta through an application dated 26.11.2024. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.
Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on
26.11.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and appropriate orders shall be passed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
