Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1970/1971, to punish the respondents for violating the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.5142 of 2011 dated 11.07.2013. For Petitioner :M/s.R.Saseetharan For Respondents :Mrs.M.E.Rani Selvam Additional Government Pleader

ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed alleging that the respondents have disobeyed the order of this Court dated 11.07.2013 in W.P.No.5142 of 2011.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that this Court's order dated 11.07.2013 in W.P.No.5142 of 2011 has been complied with by the respondents and he has produced a copy of the proceedings of the Government Higher Secondary School, Kumalankuttai, in letter No.80 of 2017, dated 11.08.2017 to that effect.

3. During the pendency of the contempt petition, the petitioner has filed another petition in W.P.No.4519 of 2017 challenging the proceedings issued by the 4th respondent. The petitioner has also taken out a petition in W.M.P.No.4746 of 2017 praying to grant an interim stay of all further proceedings issued by the 4th respondent

dated 09.02.2017. At the time of admission of the writ petition, an order of interim stay was granted by the learned Single Judge on 23.02.2017.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this contempt petition is closed at present. No costs.
