ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to consider and pass orders in the statutory appeal dated 25.02.2017 preferred by him under Section 14 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, within a time frame, after affording due opportunity to him.

2.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents sought eight weeks time to consider the pending appeal. 3.Considering the limited prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court hereby directs the second respondent to consider the pending appeal and pass speaking order, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.It is needless to mention that the second respondent shall give an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and other affected parties, if any.
