This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying for a direction to the respondent to register a case based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 19.12.2014 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard Mr.V.Marx Raveendran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On a reading of the complaint it appears that the petitioner has lost two mobile phones and on the complaint given by the petitioner, the police has given C.S.R.No.426 of 2014. Now the petitioner requires a non-traceable certificate for the purpose of claiming insurance.

4. In the light of the above, the respondent police is directed to enquire into the complaint and issue non-traceable certificate to the petitioner in accordance with law.
