ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents herein to award one mark to the petitioner for the said question No.44, so as to enable the petitioner to secure 78.5 marks from the existing position of 77. 5 marks and post the petitioner in Law and Order category as Sub Inspector of Police from the Armed Reserve category where the petitioner is currently working as S.I of Police in the Traffic Department in Chennai City, with consequent seniority.

2. When the matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court record.
