O R D E R
The contempt application is filed against the order passed in W.P.No.30923 of 2014 dated 15.09.2016, whereby this Court found it appropriate to permit the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the first respondent from
within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such representation, the first respondent shall consider and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing the petitioner within a period of eight weeks.
2.Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court, the respondent / Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, passed an order in Letter.No.35897/Ser.8(2)/2016-2, dated 20.03.2017.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner states that, no doubt, the Secretary to Government passed the above said order. The contempt petitioner filed W.P.No.21783 of 2017, challenging the orders passed by the Government on 20.03.3017 and the writ petition was admitted and pending before this Court. However, opportunity of hearing was not given to the petitioner is the only complaint made in this contempt petition.
4.This Court is not inclined to consider the said submission, in view of the fact that the direction of this Court is only to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner and pass orders and the 1st respondent passed orders on 20.03.2017 and challenging the same, the petitioner also filed W.P.No.21783 of 2017.
5.Thus, no further adjudication is required in this contempt petition. Accordingly, the contempt stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
