ORDER
This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 07.03.2018, passed by
this Court in Crl.O.P.No.6879 of 2018, thereby directing the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.799 of 2016, pending on his file and to file a final report within a period of four weeks. 2.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that before passing the orders by this Court, the respondent already completed the investigation in Crime No.799 of 2016 and closed the FIR. In fact, the petitioner was also served with referred charge sheet noticed dated 19.07.2017. Unfortunately, it was not brought to the knowledge of this Court at the time of passing the order on 07.03.2018. Now no investigation is pending in Crime No.766 of 2016 on the file of the respondent herein.

Considering the above submissions, no contempt is made out as against the respondent. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file protest petition as against the closure of FIR, within a period of two weeks from today.
