Senthil, v. State Rep. By
Crl.M.P.No.13289 of 2016 in Crl.A.No.814 of 2016 S.NAGAMUTHU.J., AND N.AUTHINATHAN.J., This is a case of three murders. The petitioners are accused 10 and 11. They had been convicted for murder. Challenging the conviction and sentence, the appellants are before this Court with this appeal and pending appeal, they seek suspension of sentence.
2. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and we have also perused the records carefully.
3. Perusal of the records would go to show that there is enough evidence against these accused that they caused injuries on D.2 and D.3, which resulted in their death. We do not find a case in favour of the petitioners for suspending the sentence. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed.
4. The Registry is directed to post the appeal along with the
connected Appeal No.517 of 2016.
