ORDER
This Contempt Petition is filed to punish the respondents for deliberately 1 / 4
disobeying the order of this Court in W.P.No.34050 of 2023, dated 08.12.2023. Paragraph 4 of the said order reads as follows: "4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2023, after issuing notice to all the adjacent land owners namely, all the land owners of the boundaries of the petitioner's land, the petitioner, fourth respondent herein and the interested parties/rival claimants, if any as the case may be, and conduct enquiry in the manner known to law and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, if the petitioner's representation is otherwise in order. The abovesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
2. Since the respondents had not complied with the above order passed in the Writ Petition, the writ petitioner has filed the present contempt petition.
3. When the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, the first respondent appeared in person. Pending the contempt petition, the respondents have complied with the order under contempt.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has filed several representations and also not cooperating and he himself has objected the survey being conducted. That is the reason why the respondents could not pass the final order immediately. However, they have passed the order subsequently.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there is no wilfull disobedience of the order under contempt.
6. With the above observations, the Contempt Petition is closed. 02.06.2025 cs To
