Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ in the nature of Writ of Certiorari, or any other appropriate Writ, or direction to call for the records from the file of the 1st Respondent herein in I.D.No.79 of 2006 to 85 of 2006 on its file and quash its Common Award, dated 11.08.2016.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed assailing the impugned award of the Labour Court in I.D.No.79 of 2006.

2. When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of this Writ Petition, the matter was amicably settled between the parties before the Lok Adalat, Coimbatore wherein, the award has been passed arriving at a full and final settlement of the gratuity amount by recording a joint memo of compromise filed by the parties. A copy of the Award has been filed before this Court which is recorded.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
