ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 04.12.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for transfer of patta in his name with respect to the subject property.

Heard Mr.D.Daniel, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 3. 3.

The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property through a registered sale deed dated 07.01.1996, which was executed in favour of the petitioner's mother. The town survey field register also stood in the name of the petitioner's mother. The petitioner lost his parents and thereby, inherited the property. The petitioner submitted a representation seeking for transfer of patta in his name. Since the same did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit an on-line application to the 3 rd respondent along with all relevant documents and particulars and on receipt of the same, the 3 rd respondent shall act upon the on-line application, on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of on-line application from the petitioner. 5.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
