PRAYER:
Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the pending subsidy amount of Rs.59,77,972.00/- that is due to the petitioner company with compound interest @ 15% per annum for the Micro Irrigation work done during the year 2010-2014 under the National Mission on Micro Irrigation now known as Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana Scheme in the light of communication dated 22.07.2021 vide letter No.A2/206/2020 issued by the fifth respondent. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to disburse the pending subsidy amount of Rs.59,77,972.00/- that is due to the petitioner company with compound interest @ 15% per annum for the Micro Irrigation work done during the year 2010-2014 under the National Mission on Micro Irrigation now 2/6
known as Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana Scheme in the light of communication dated 22.07.2021 vide letter No.A2/206/2020 issued by the fifth respondent.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that while pending the writ petition, the third respondent sanctioned to the tune of Rs.45,53,744/- as pending subsidy amount as against the claim of the petitioner at Rs.59,77,972/- and they are ready and willing to settle the same. However, the third respondent is ready and willing to settle the amount if the petitioner produces bill and it will be subject to verification.

In view of the above submission, the fifth respondent is directed to disburse the above said amount within a period of four weeks from today. However, the petitioner is at liberty to produce the bills within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the fifth respondent is directed to verify and process the same for disbursal of subsidy within a period of four weeks thereafter.

With the above direction, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
