This petition has been filed to direct the respondents police to give adequate police protection during the Annual festival commencing from 20.02.2018 to 07.03.2018 to the Holy Godess Arulmighu Sri Badrakaliamman Koil, Sangilinadar Street, Udumalpet, Tiruppur District.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the annual festival commencing date has been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous.
3. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs.
