Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass orders based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2015.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be the Dharmakartha of Sri Mariamman Koil, situate at Kamalapuram Village & Post, Omalur Taluk, Salem and the temple festival is scheduled to be conducted on 07.05.2015 and while conducting temple festival, song and dance programme will be conducted and in this regard, submitted a representation dated 20.04.2015 to the respondents seeking permission and since, he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the event of permission being granted, there will not be any law and order problem and obscenity and vulgarity will not be there and hence, prays for appropriate orders.

4. Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Digvijaypandian, learned Additional Govt. Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents.

5. This Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2015, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law on or before 03.05.2015 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
