Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. The petition is filed to condone the delay of 111 days in filing the appeal.

3. Ms.S.R.Sumathy, learned counsel undertakes to file vakalat for the second respondent. The learned counsel for the respondents has not raised any serious objection in allowing the petition. However, she submits that the petitioner/appellant is not entitled for interest for the delayed period in case this Court enhances the award amount.

4. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit, filed in support of the petition, the delay is condoned and the petition is ordered.

5. It is made clear that the petitioner/appellant is not entitled for interest for the delayed period.

6. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list the same for admission on 30.09.2021.
