ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.AR.L.Sundaresan, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, Mrs.R.Anitha learned Special Government Pleader, for the respondents 1 to 5 and Mrs.Sudharsana Sundar, learned counsel for respondent no.6.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the SIPCOT/ respondent no.6 that on 03.07.2023, a letter has been issued to the Government for handing over the possession of part of the land known as water channel. It is for the Government to take steps.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader accepts that such a communication has been received by the State authority and a formal order is required to be passed. After the formal order is passed, the grievance against the petitioner would not subsist.

In view of this, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
