O R D E R

to issue direction to the respondents herein to provide police protection for the life and safety of the petitioner and his family members and servants for putting up a construction of Guest house in the petitioners property situated at Survey Nos.558/2D1 & Survey No.558/2F1 situated at Agassipalli Village, Avathanappatti Village, Krishnagiri District having an extent of 40 cents.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner purchased a property in Survey No.558/2D1 and 558/2F1 at Agassipalli Villge, Avathanappatti Village, Krishnagiri District having an extent of 40 cents. The petitioner is the Dharmakartha of Sri Bavani Amman Temple in his village and in order to make all arrangements to the VIP and other persons to fulfill their needs and requirements, the petitioner decided to construct a guest house in his property. The same is not liked by the local people i.e. Subramani, Rajammal Srinivasan and Saikunthala and they have started to give all types of troubles, disturbances to the petitioner. The above stated persons along with 50 rowdy elements came to the petitioner's property along with deadly weapons and threatening the petitioner and his family members.

They are not allowing the petitioner to put up any construction on his property. In this regard, a complaint was lodged before the respondent police on 01.02.2019, but no action was taken and no police protection was given to him and to his land. Since the same was not considered, this petition has been filed seeking for appropriate direction.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.It is seen from the records that the petitioner has given a representation dated 01.02.2019, before the 3rd respondent seeking police protection to construct a house in the land owned by him. Considering the above circumstances, the 3rd respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.02.2019 and pass orders after conducting due enquiry with the counterparts within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
