Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2020 and issue patta in the name of the temple namely Arulmigu Om Sri Nilathadi Karuppasamy Temple. For Petitioner : Mr.Thanjai P.N.Chezhian For Respondent : Mr.E.Balamurugan, Spl.G.P.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2020 and issue patta in the name of the temple namely Arulmigu Om Sri Nilathadi Karuppasamy Temple. 2.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader entered appearance for the respondent and submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 24.05.2021 at 11.00 a.m at the office of the Tahsildar, the respondent.

3.The said statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2020 through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks after excluding such time that may be lost to the Tahsildar during the counting procedure of the General Election of the Tamil Nadu https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

State Legislative Assembly, 2021, which is scheduled to take place on 02.05.2021.
