ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to grant Electricity Service Connection in his residential premises bearing No.1/36, Post office Street, Thuraipakkam, Chennai - 97.

2. Admittedly, there are civil disputes between the petitioner and the third respondent. The third respondent obtained decree of mandatory injunction as against several other persons. The petitioner was not a party in the said suit. On the other hand, the suit filed by the petitioner was dismissed and she has not filed an appeal against the dismissal of the suit. Furthermore, it is stated that the third respondent is no more.

3. Considering the complicated issue of civil disputes between the petitioner and the third respondent, no direction can be issued to the Electricity Board as sought for by the petitioner. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Civil Court for appropriate relief. In fine, the writ petition is dismissed. No Costs.
