ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners were arrested for the alleged offence under Sections 341, 294(b), 392, 397 and 506 (ii) of IPC. The petitioners are A1 and A2 in this case. According to the prosecution, both the petitioners joined together and snatched Rs.2,000/- at knife point from the defacto complainant.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states that the petitioners are in prison for more than 41 days and the investigation is completed and the final report is likely to be filed shortly and seeks for bail.

3.However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police states that these two petitioners are notorious criminals having several criminal cases against them and when they were in jail, they involved in the present crime. Till the investigation is completed, the release of these petitioners will lead to abscondence and tampering of evidence.

4.Considering the apprehension raised by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and number of cases pending against these petitioners in various crimes, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Hence this Criminal Original Petition for bail is dismissed.
