PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the fifth respondent in relation to the proceedings issued in Na.Ka.No. 196/2013 dated 03.09.2013 and quash the same and issue a consequential direction to the respondents to restore the selection grade scale of pay to the petitioner in pay band of Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay 5400 with effect from 01.01.2006 with monetary benefits from 01.01.2011 and to grant Special grade scale of pay with consequential benefits.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had died and the legal heirs are unwilling to substitute themselves as parties in the writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In light of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in the writ petition. Accordingly, recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed as abated. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
