This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying for a direction to the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 21.02.2015, investigate the same and file a final report.
2. Heard Mr.R.Narendran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. On a reading of the complaint, it appears that two cows have been sold by the defacto complaniant's wife and the money was not paid by the purchaser. Since the complaint is purely civil in nature, the police cannot be directed to register the case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.The criminal original petition is closed with the above observation. However, if there is any real threat to the petitioner, he is at liberty to lodge a fresh complaint and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquried into and action shall be taken in accordance with law.
