Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the 2nd respondent, the Director of Adi Dravidar Welfare, Chennai - 5 dated 14.11.2019 in Na.Ka.No.T2/12330/2019 for recruiting cooks in Hostels (ADW), Perambalur District and of the proceedings of the 3 - member Committee appointed pursuant to it that held on 21st and 22nd of November, 2019 to select 28 persons to be appointed as "Cooks" in Adi Dravidar Welfare Hostels in Perambalur, and directing the 2nd respondent to issue fresh proceedings to constitute a Committee to selection 28 persons as "Cooks" in Adi Dravidar Welfare Hostels in Perambalur District considering the qualifications as per rules and orders of the same candidates who attended on 21st and 22nd day of November, 2019 when the defective previous interview was conducted, and to oversee the functions of the Committee to see that no defects occur in the functions of the Committee. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous, and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.
