Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the impugned proceedings No.27741/B1/2005 dated 15.02.2008 passed by the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same as null and void and consequently directing the 2nd respondent herein to revise and regularize the service seniority of the petitioner herein by keeping the name of the petitioner above the immediate Junior viz. Mr.Y.Justin with reference to the seniority of promotion panel vide No.Ka.Mu.No.400/A3/97-1 dated 03.12.1997 in the cadre of SubRegistrar Grade-II and subsequent promotion required to be given periodically in the eye of law.

O R D E R
This writ petition has been listed today (19.12.2017) under the caption "For Reporting Compliance". This Court had already passed an order dated 09.08.2017 in this Writ Petition and it reads as under:- "14.
However, this court is of the opinion that instead of taking stringent action against the writ petitioner, lenient view is to be taken, since it is presumed that the affidavits are mostly prepared by the respective counsel and there is a chance of pleading of ignorance regarding certain aspects. In this view of the matter, the writ petitioner is directed to pay Rs.25,000/- towards costs to the Inspector General of Registration, No.100, Santhome High Road, Mylapore, Chennai-600 028 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of payment, the Inspector General of Registration is directed to deposit the cost amount to the account of the Hon'ble Chief Minister's relief Fund within a period of one week thereafter and report the compliance of the same to the Government Pleader Office within a period of one week thereafter.
15. With these above directions, the writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed. For reporting compliance, post the writ petition after four weeks."
3. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner made a submission that the order passed by this Court on 09.08.2017 in W.P.No.20912 of 2017 has been complied with and the writ petitioner has paid the costs.
4. Therefore, in view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, no further orders are required in this writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed, as the order of this Court has been complied with. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently,connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
