..Respondents Petition filed under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, to appoint an arbitrator to resolve all disputes concerning the contract dated 07.09.2009 entered into between the petitioner and the respondents.

O R D E R

Learned counsel for parties agree that in view of there being an arbitration clause and disputes having arisen inter se the parties and the jurisdiction of this Court not being in dispute, without admitting any of the averments made in the petition on merits, Mr.K.Srinivasan, Chief Engineer, be appointed as the Sole Arbitrator to enter upon reference and adjudicate the disputes between the parties.

2.In view thereof, as proposed and agreed by learned counsel for parties, I appoint Mr.K.Srinivasan, Chief Engineer, residing at C2, Block I, May Fair Apartments, Velacherry, Chennai 600 042 (Ph.94446 20305), as the Sole Arbitrator, to enter upon reference and adjudicate the disputes inter se the parties. As agreed, the arbitration proceedings will be conducted under the ageis of the Madras High Court Arbitration Centre and the parties will be governed by the Rules of the Centre. 3.The original petition is, accordingly, allowed, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
