O R D E R

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent made a submission that the order passed by this Court on 05.09.2014 in WP.No.17275 of 2014 has been complied with. In this regard, the terminal benefits due to the writ petitioner along with the interest as

directed by this Court had been disbursed to the writ petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner made an objection by stating that the interest was not properly calculated. There is a difference of about Rs.1,00,000/ in respect of the interest amount. At the outset, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that there are certain differences in the calculation in respect of interest.

3. This Court cannot go into the calculation or otherwise of the petitioner as well as the respondent in respect of the calculation of interest. Even if there is any differences in respect of calculation, it is left open to the writ petitioner to submit his representation in this regard to the respondent and the respondent, if received any such representation from the writ petitioner and the same may be considered and the intimation may be given to the writ petitioner in this regard. However, this Court is of the opinion that the respondent has calculated the terminal benefits and the interest as applicable as per the orders of this Court and disbursed the same to the writ petitioner.

4. Thus, no further adjudication in this contempt petition is required to be undertaken. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed.
