ORDER
This petition is filed praying to transfer the investigation in Crime No.495 of 2013 on the file of the third respondent, to the file of the fourth respondent.
2.In the petition it is stated that the petitioner's daughter Priya wife of one Subash had died of burn injuries on 23.11.2013 and she was only 21 years at the time of her death. It is further stated that the marriage between the daughter and Subash is a love marriage and there was frequent altercations and quarrels between them while they were staying together at Chinnavembadu Village, Vaniyambadi Taluk. It is further stated that with regard to the death of Priya the petitioner's estranged wife Palaniammal had lodged a complaint with the third respondent on 23.11.2013 and the same was registered in Crime No.495 of 2013 under Section 174(3) of Cr.P.C. Thereafter, the respondent police is lethargic and no action was taken on the complaint in Crime No.495 of 2013. Hence, this petition. 3.Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 4.
Considering the submissions made on either side, the third respondent is directed to expedite the investigation in Crime No.495 of 2013, complete the same and file final report as early as possible. 5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
