Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to suspend the 5th respondent from his service immediately based on his deviant behaviour and the criminal records, and to take appropriate disciplinary action against the 5th respondent and other involved persons in a speedy manner without any delay. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. The allegation of the petitioner is that the fifth respondent, who happens to be a V.A.O.Assistant under the fourth respondent, is indulged in some illegal activities, for which, he filed a complaint with the authorities and also this Writ Petition, seeking a writ of mandamus, to suspend the fifth respondent from service and proceed against him departmentally. The same is in the nature of public interest litigation in a service matter. Hence, the same is misconceived. Therefore, it is dismissed, as devoid of merit. No costs. Consequently, the connected W.M.P.No.8447 of 2018 also stands dismissed.
