This writ petition is filed against the order dated 04.10.2013 whereby the request for an interim stay of the order of the Collector was rejected.
2. I heard Mr.Avinash Wadwani, the learned counsel for the Petitioner and Ms.R.J.Radhika, the learned Government Advocate for the Respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the revision petition is still pending before the Special Commissioner and Commissioner of Land Administration. This fact is not refuted by the learned Government Advocate. Accordingly, he submits that the Petitioner is ready and willing to prosecute the review petition expeditiously provided his possession is protected in the interregnum.
4. The learned Government Advocate also does not seriously object to this course of action.
5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, I am inclined to dispose of this writ petition by directing the Special Commissioner and Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai/the first Respondent herein, to dispose of the pending revision petition filed by the Petitioner on 05.09.2013 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the interregnum, the possession of the Petitioner shall not be disturbed by the Respondents.
6. This writ petition stands disposed of on the above terms. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
