When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, though the petitioner has come up with this Writ petition seeking to declare the action of the 3rd and 4th respondents in engaging respondents 5 to 7 as illegal, however, during the pendency of this Writ petition, the Government, vide proceedings bearing No.1728/ PADSTDC/Estt./A1/2020-21 Puducherry Adi Dravidar and Schedule Tribes Development Corporation Limited, decided to re-engage the disengaged workers.

2. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that, no further adjudication is necessary in this Writ petition and accordingly, this Writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
