The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 22.11.2016 and issue copy of the Extract of Town Survey Land Register for his Plot No.20, measuring an extent of 4,860 sq. ft. comprised in Old S.No.11, Part of Periyakudal Village and Municipal Division No.62, situated at Shenoy Nagar now bearing Door No.45, 7th Cross Street, Shenoy Nagar West, Chennai 600 030.

According to the petitioner, he is in absolute possession and enjoyment of the property in question from the date of its purchase. Since he had not obtained a copy of the Extract of Town Survey Land Register with respect to the said Plot, he submitted a representation to the 2nd respondent herein along with necessary documents, on 22.11.2016. Since no reply is forthcoming from the 2nd respondent, the petitioner is before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
