O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct Remedial Classes for the petitioner in the third respondent Institution so as to enable the petitioner to appear and write the Supplementary Examinations for the III year M.B.B.S (Part-II), scheduled to be held in the month of May 2026.
2. The case of the petitioner is that due to ill-health, the petitioner has not attended the classes regularly and there is a lack of attendance and thereby, the petitioner could not able to participate in the final year examination. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed seeking to appear and participate in the supplementary examination.
3. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the College Management may come forward to allow the petitioner to participate in the supplementary examination scheduled to be conducted in the month of May 2026 without insisting upon the petitioner to pay the fees.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent / College Management submits that considering the petitioner's serious health condition, the Management had already waived the entire tuition fee and hostel fee from the year 2024 and the petitioner will be permitted to participate in the supplementary examination which is going to be conducted in the month of May 2026 and with regard to waiver of fees, it will be addressed to the concerned officials and after obtaining permission, the hostel fee and the other fees will be waived.

In the light of the above stand taken by the third respondent / College Management in their status report, if the petitioner satisfies attendance and other parameters, he shall be permitted to participate in the Supplementary examination scheduled to be held in May 2026 for III year MBBS (Part-II) and the waiver of fees shall be decided by the third respondent in consultation with the concerned officials.
6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
