.. Respondents Prayer: This Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 70/71 to punish the respondents for having committed contempt of Court for disobeying the order dated 10.11.2016 and made in W.A.No.1346 of 2016.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J.) Pursuant to our order dated 10.08.2017 and on the basis of the instructions in R.C.No.5953/1987/Pe2 dated 11.08.2017 of the Sub Collector, Hosur, Mr.K.V.Dhanapalan, learned Special Government pleader submitted that a sum of Rs.14,673/- including interest upto 31.07.2017, has

been paid, by way of demand draft bearing No.291656 dated 11.08.2017 drawn on State Bank of India, Hosur, in favour of the 1st petitioner, and the same has been furnished to the writ petitioner, for which an acknowledgment has also been obtained.

2. Mr.K.V.Dhanapalan, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that for the mistake in the calculation of interest only upto 10.08.2017 and interest for the period under revenue deposit, the Sub Collector, Hosur, has been advised to rectify the defect within three days. Learned special Government pleader further submitted that the Sub Collector will make suitable arrangements with SIDCO, for disbursement. His submission is placed on record.

3. Copies of the proceedings of the Sub Collector, Hosur in R.C.No.5953/1987/Pe2 dated 11.08.2017 and acknowledgment of the demand draft, furnished to this Court, shall form part of the record.

4. Placing on record the above, the Contempt Petition is closed. No Costs.
