The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondent to conduct an enquiry and issue Legal Heir Certificate to her, on account of her husband's death, based on her application dated 16.12.2016. 2.

According to the petitioner, her husband died on 25.04.2011 at Raghavendra Hospital, Kamala Nagar, Hyderabad. The greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has also issued Death Certificate dated 17.05.2011. The petitioner made an application dated 16.12.2016 to the respondent seeking issuance of Legal Heir Certificate and the same was duly acknowledged by him on 23.12.2016. Since no reply is forthcoming from the respondent, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.12.2016 seeking issuance of Legal Heir Certificate, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
