O R D E R

Petitioner, namely, P.Baskaran, filed this contempt petition in pursuance of the orders of this Court passed in Crl.O.P.No.23619 of 2013 dated 18.9.2013 directing the respondent police to complete the investigation in Cr.No.173 0f 2007 within a prescribed time. Since it was not done, he has filed this contempt application.

2. The learned Government Advocate submitted that investigation has been completed and negative final report to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ the effect that there is insufficient evidence to proceed as

against the petitioner has been filed before the concerned Court. Referred Charge Sheet (RCS) notice also has been served on the complainant, who is a Revenue official. Now, the respondent police is not proceeding as against the petitioner and the petitioner is very much happy because he has been relieved of from the head ache of a criminal case.

3. The submission of the learned Government Advocate that the case in Cr.No.173 of 2007 has been closed, is recorded. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed.
