Respondents Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the second respondent herein in No. B.1.18128 / 2000 dated 11.12.2000 and the records relating to the first respondent herein in Letter No. 30746/Ve.Ne 7/2000 - 14 dated 04.07.2005 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to settle all the consequential benefits and retirement benefits with due regards to petitioner's seniority.

During the course of hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the sole petitioner died on 16.04.2024. The wife who is the legal heir of the petitioner is not coming forward to submit legal heir certificate to enable the counsel to file appropriate application to bring the Lrs on record and accordingly, the learned counsel requested to close the writ petition as abated. The statement of the learned counsel for the petitioner is placed on record.

2. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is closed as abated.

3. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
