PRAYER: This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus of any other in the nature of Writ directing the respondent authority to give permission and police protection to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of A.Pudur Village, Pattanampatti Arulmigu Sree Mariamman Temple Festival at Sangakiri Taluk, Salem District on 27.03.2022 between 06.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2022.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent authority to give permission and police protection to conduct Cultural Programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of A.Pudur Village, Pattanampatti Arulmigu Sree Mariamman Temple Festival at Sangakiri Taluk, Salem District on 27.03.2022 between 06.00 p.m., to 11.00 p.m., by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2022.

2. There is no representation on the side of the petitioner.

3. When the matter is taken up today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the representation of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner has been rejected by the respondent on 19.03.2022 and it is also served on the petitioner on the same day.

4. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
