ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in respect of FIR No.4 of 2017 dated 04.02.2017 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that despite direction given by this Court on 27.03.2018 to file a final report in Crime No.04 of 2017 dated 04.02.2017, no final report is filed till date.
3. Mr.N.Muthuvel, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions submitted that the case has been transferred to Tambaram Police Station due to bifurcation of the Police District.

5. In view of the above, the present Investigation Officer is directed to expedite the investigation and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the de-facto complainant.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
