O R D E R

This Contempt Petition is filed to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.2364 of 2014 dated 29.1.2014.

2. This Court, by order dated 29.1.2014 in W.P.No.2364 of 2014, has directed the respondents therein to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 30.1.2013 in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders in the light of the G.O.Ms.202, dated 18.12.2013 and in the light of orders of this Court passed in W.P.No.2942 of 2011 dated 19.9.2011 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Since the above said order of this Court has not been complied with by the respondent within the specified time as directed by this Court, the present Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

4. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Advocate (forest) submitted that by order dated 1.12.2014, the representation of the petitioner dated 30.12.2013 was considered and the same was rejected on merits .

5. As the petitioner's representation was considered and order has been passed, I am of the opinion that now nothing survives in this petition. Hence this contempt petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to

challenge the order dated 1.12.2014 passed by the respondent, if he so desires, in the manner known to law.
