ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.152 of 2019, pending on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, Tindivanam. 1/4

2. The respondent filed a private complaint against the petitioner (A1) and A2 for offences under Sections 499, 500 and 501 of I.P.C. on the ground that the petitioner had published an article in Nakkheeran Magazine on 30.07.2019 containing false and malicious allegations against the respondent.

3. During the pendency of this proceedings, the parties have settled the dispute amicably and the same was reported by both sides.

4. In view of the above, the proceedings in C.C.No.152 of 2019, on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, Tindivanam is hereby quashed and the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
