Heard Mr. P.Mani, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. P.Ganesan, Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the First and Second Respondents and Dr. S.Surya, Learned Counsel for the Third and Fourth Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

It is the case of the Petitioner that she had applied on 03.07.2015 for water connection for the house constructed by her in the property at Door No. 444, Melmaruvathur Road, Mamandur Village, Kilkodungalur Post, Vandavasi Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District, on payment of necessary charges, and despite representations dated 17.03.2017, 03.07.2018, 01.10.2019, 16.10.2020, 23.02.2022 and 28.04.2022 made by her to the Second to Fourth Respondents, it did not evoke any response, which has necessitated the filing of this Writ Petition.

Learned Counsel for the Third and Fourth Respondents, on instructions, states that the Respondents by proceedings dated 08.03.2024 has issued work order to the contractor to provide water connection to the Petitioner under 15th CFC Scheme, on collecting the required amount from the Petitioner as per rules.

In view of the aforesaid action, nothing remains for further consideration in the Writ Petition, but if the Petitioner still has any grievance to be redressed in the matter, she is not precluded from working out her remedies before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law. In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
