The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents 3 to 7 to allot one house in Samathuvapuram situate at Kadukkapatti Village in Selliyampatti Panchayat, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District to the petitioner.

2. The claim of the writ petitioner was rejected on the ground that he was not falling within the minimum eligibility criteria fixed and as per the minimum eligibility, the petitioner must have the disability of 70% and the petitioner in this case had 65% of disability during the relevant point of time.

3. However, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner died during the pendency of the writ petition and thus, no further consideration needs to be given in respect of the grounds raised.
