ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition is filed challenging the dismissal of the application filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to Tahsildar, Tiruchengode to issue certified copies of Adangal, Survey Field Plan, ARegister etc., relating to S.No.187, Thondipatti Village, Tiruchengode Taluk.

2. The petitioner herein filed a suit for permanent injunction. The instant application has been filed seeking a direction to Tahsildar, Tiruchengode to issue certified copies of the above mentioned documents.

3. The documents mentioned by the petitioner are official documents, it is for the petitioner to file appropriate application before the concerned Officials seeking certified copies of the same. In case, the certified copies of the documents are refused by the concerned Officials, it is open to the petitioner to file an application before the Court seeking to send for the originals as per Rule 75 of Civil Rules of Practice. Instead of following the 2/4

said procedure, it is not open to the petitioner to file an application seeking direction to Tahsildar to issue certified copies of above mentioned documents. In the affidavit filed in support of the application, the petitioner has not mentioned whether he applied for certified copies or not. In such circumstances, the Trial Court rightly dismissed the application and I do not find any error in the order impugned in this revision.

4. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected civil miscellaneous petition is closed. 21.03.2024 Index : Yes / No Speaking order : Yes / No : Yes / No dm To The Additional District Munsif Court, Thiruchengode, Namakkal District.
