This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to complete the investigation in Crime No.9 of 2021 pending on the file of the respondent police to file final report within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that investigation in Crime No.9 of 2021 for the offences under Section 498 (A), 294(b) & 506(2) of IPC is going on and the respondent will be able to complete the enquiry and file the final report within a period of six months.
