This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the II Fast Track Court (Magisterial Level), at Allikulam, Egmore, Chennai to dispose of C.C.No.9276 of 2019 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a stipulated time.

2. The Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the complainant in C.C.No.9276 of 2019 and the same is pending on the file of II Fast Track Court (Magisterial Level), at Allikulam, Egmore, Chennai. The case was originally filed during the year of 2016 and the case was taken on file in C.C.No.2872 of 2016 before the Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Fast Track III at Saidapet, Chennai. Thereafter, the case was transferred to the file of present Trial Court. He would further submit that the petitioner has let in evidence by way of proof affidavit on 11.03.2020 and thereafter, the case has been repeatedly adjourned for cross examination whereas, the respondent is not coming forward to cross examine the petitioner/complainant. He would further submit that due to the pendency of the case, the petitioner/complainant put to great hardship.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

4. In view of the above, direction is issued to the learned Trial Judge to complete the trial within a period of six months from the next hearing date i.e., 11.04.2022.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petitions stands disposed of.
