The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to dispose the petitioner's pending application vide ID No.2019/0154/02/000604 dated 18.02.2019 by transferring the patta in the name of the petitioner.

2. Though notice was served on the 3rd respondent, he did not appear either in person or through counsel. His name is printed in the cause list.

3. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 18.02.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
